Producer and director Ravindra Gautam (paperback films) is a happy man, in new year his new show Meri Durga will be launching on a prime channel. So he will be busy working for his new show this new year. As he adds,”There are no New Year plans because my show is coming on air in january so there can’t be any New Year plans other than working on the show.
I don’t believe in new year resolutions, they are good to make great to break. 2016 for me was a year of change. I got the opportunity again from a director to become a producer. That was the biggest change. I got a show on Star Plus. We worked very hard last year. So it was a year of the new beginning.” Talking about audience’s taste Ravindra says,” I think right now people are liking the change.
The trend I noticed in 2016 were serials going off air in four months just because people are not liking it and there are new shows coming in with a good thought, there are inspirational stories coming in like Tamanna was there and finite series were also welcomed.” He further adds,”I think future of Indian Television industry is very very bright. Television has taken a new turn in India twenty years back and that too in a huge way. This is just a start and there is long way to go,”
